Answer for question 4608.

Donald Trump as presidential candidate -- what's your opinion? Among your circles of friends and family, is your opinion the norm or does your opinion of him differ from those around you?
Well, the Donald, so far as i know never spent time in jail for a barroom fight, and his book, i am told since i have not read it, does not have too much resemblance to Mein Kampf. Still i would not trust him one tenth as far as i could throw him, and my physical abilities are very limit. But i would not vote for any of the other Republican frontrunners either. In fact, in my mind the word "republican" has become so tinged with right wing protestant evangelicalism and pandering to the wealthy they no longer should be able to claim to represent the majority of Americans. Even sadder they will betray the religious right - who are a large segment of the population, but they will not betray the wealthy -- the one percent.

I want my candidate to be electable and competent; but neither of these things are my central concern.
I want a candidate who stands for what i stand for and who will not betray the poor of the U.S. or the world.

BERNIE 2016

Does my opinion differ from those around me? I live in Idaho.

The Republican candidates make me cringe for my birth country.
I like both democratic candidates but tend towards Bernie.

Too bad you can't vote in American elections. Or can you?
