When the mind is at peace,
the world too is at peace.
Nothing real, nothing absent.
Not holding on to reality,
not getting stuck in the void,
you are neither holy nor wise, just
an ordinary fellow who has completed his work.

Poetry Chaikhana | P'ang Yun (Layman P'ang) - When the mind is at peace

P'ang Yun lived in the eightth century.
He was married with children
He destroyed his wealth because he feared
that if he gave it away. the beneficiaries
would become as attached to it as he was.
He was a poor man with a rich life.
What his family thought about this i was not told
