Update Update

Dianne's blood oxygenation still requires higher than prescribed oxygen flow.   Otherwise, things seem to be goling very well.  We both had baths today without incident; i would be embarrassed to have to admit how long its been since that has happened.  Next time she talks about going to Nevada i hope to make a  more positive response.

Outdoor temperatures here have been in the nineties and  are starting to get oppressive.  108F degrees is expected by week's end.  I'm letting the neighbor's son do my lawn.

Oh, please forgive me. I didn't intend a personal indictment, but a lament about their invention.

We have grass as well. I am gradually wrassling the grass in the back down to mowable level after its growth during our trip.

Oh, no offense was taken nor apology required!

There was a moment of self-imposed guilt as i though about how rapidly the earth's ground water is being depleted and the consequent responsibility of people who take unlimited water for granted to conserve. Despite appearances, southern Idaho is part of a great western desert.

(How come dessert gets two esses and desert only gets one? :)\

I suspect that dessert is greedy.

I deal with the water thing by not watering grass. If it does the natural grass thing of browning out over the summer, so be it. But I also live in a neighbourhood where that doesn't bring a pogrom down upon me....

Mu neighborhood has a HOA and i received a politely worded letter from them last summer pointing to my negligent yard care.
