Answer for question 4314.

Are you usually good at keeping secrets? Describe a time when you tried to keep a secret but accidentally let it slip out. What's the longest you've ever kept a secret?
I have two half-sisters who do not know of my existence. About seventeen years i came very close to allowing myself to be introduced to our father. which might have blown his secret (which had now become mine also). I am grateful that i have kept this secret, since its knowledge would have harmed people and not done anybody any good. Our father is dead now and he, apparently, took our secret to his grave. I shall do the same. Since my mother is also deceased, there is no one left, so far as i know,
who knows the secret..

Its probably more common than we realize. There are lots of stories about people looking for their biological parents. Most people find their fantasies about their biological parents more interesting than the reality would be. I was lucky; my biological mom (who i met through no effort on the part of either of us) was a woman i liked on sight and quickly came to love. About the fifth thing she said to me the first time we met was: "I'm glad this isn't going to be on television."
