"Everyone who glorifies himself will be humiliated, and the one who humbles himself will be praised." -- Q1

Bumper stickers say their owners are "proud to be an American"
Let me, instead, be humble to be a human being.
Humble and Human come from the same root word which means "earth"
Earth refers to the dirt beneath our feet.
"Dust we are, and to dust we will return."
Let me respect the proud for their humanity,
not for their accomplishments or their pride

Let me be humble so that "servant"
will not be just a metaphor
or a word that sticks in my throat.
