"Sermon" Meditation XIV: Topsy-Turvy World

"....So don't worry, thinking, 'What will we eat,' or 'What will we drink,' or 'What will we wear?'  For everybody in the whole world does that, and your father knows that you need these things.

Instead, make sure of his rule over you, and all these things will be yours as well." -- Q1

How do i make sure of God's "rule over" me?
I don't even know what that could possibly mean!
But, or so say the mystics, i am given clues.
Well, isn't life a treasure hunt?
Should i worry about not worrying?
Should i worry about worrying?
Perhaps i should not worry about worrying or not worrying.
When i worry i am less kind
Because when i worry, i am more focused on myself, less on the neighbor.
When i am less kind, i am also less just and less merciful.

Taoists say that everyone in the world knows that soft is superior to hard but no one can apply it to his or her life.
Jesus said that everyone in the world acts as though life is hard, it isn't (or shouldn't be).

Higher power, teach me the difficult lesson of letting go.  Amen.
