Morning singing song.

Maybe its because its the third day of Lent; maybe its that I'm reading a novel that begins with the 30 page description of a vision quest; maybe its that Spring is around the corner and color is coming to the ground and trees; maybe its that Dianne is nearing the end of a ten month long recovery from a series of falls and breaks and surgeries; this old hippie song keeps going through my mind:Collapse )

Good morning starshine
  The earth says hello
  You twinkle above us
    We twinkle below

     Good morning starshine
          You lead us along
My love and me as we sing
Our early morning singing song

          Giddy glub gloopy
         Nibby nabby noopy
               La la la lo lo
        Sabba sibby sabba
        Nooby abba naba
                le le lo lo
       Tooby ooby walla
       Nooby abba baba
 Early morning singing song

     (repeat all)

       Singing a song
     Humming a song
       Singing a song
        Loving a song
     Laughing a song
        Singing a song
          Sing the song
 Song song song sing
Sing sing sing sing song

This is one of about thirty songs that make me wish I had musical talent.  What a great way to greet the day.  "Good morning, morning."
And its not the lyrics that do it, its the melody.  If you are over 55 you will probably remember it.  If not, find it somewhere.
