Maurice Joly -

Maurice Joly - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My son gave me a copy of The Prague Cemetary for Christmas.  The first 100 pages are fascinating.  Eco, whose professionalism i trust (He does in real life what Dan Brown's Robert Langdon does in fiction), claims that with the exception of his main character and a few very periferal ones, all the characters in the novel were real people "who do and say in the novel what they actually did and said."

I am sufficiently impressed by this book (OMG i am becoming a fan) to create a file on the major characters in the novel.

Well, I may have to go back and read it again. I may be biased toward the monastic setting of The Name of the Rose, but I still like it best.
